When Miles Plumlee was a 5-foot-9 high school freshman guard, he could not have imagined that he would be holding his own 10 years later against a 270-pound man like DeMarcus Cousins or rising to block a shot on 7-foot-2 Roy Hibbert. Just as Plumlee quickly grew a foot during high school, his interior defense has seen rapid growth during his first true season of NBA playing time as the Suns' starting center.
