Mark Trumbo confident with handling left field for Arizona Diamondbacks

It didn't take long for new Diamondbacks left fielder Mark Trumbo to offer an answer to any questions of his defensive abilities. On the first play of the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday at Salt River Fields, the 6-4, 235-pound Trumbo made a head-first diving catch on a line drive from Chone Figgins. Later, in the fifth, Trumbo made a sliding catch on a shallow fly by Figgins.
