Sendek: Effort hasn't been acceptable for ASU basketball

Herb Sendek had a message for his Arizona State team this week. Coming off Sunday's lopsided loss at Utah, the coach told the Sun Devils that nothing is ever as good or as bad as it seemed. But he also wanted to make one thing clear: Sunday's effort was unacceptable.
