Arizona Diamondbacks coach Glenn Sherlock predicts decline in wild pitches for 2014

As they have been since Kirk Gibson took over as manager, the Diamondbacks were typically strong in 2013 at slowing down opponents' running games. They were overly charitable, however, in giving away bases, leading the majors with 84 wild pitches. But third-base coach Glenn Sherlock, whose duties include working with the team's catchers, doesn't anticipate a repeat.
