Hemi, a name synonymous with horsepower, headlined the Pro Stock class in Sunday's final round of the Carquest Auto Parts Nationals at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. Allen Johnson, the 2012 Mello Yello series champion, defeated Vieri "V" Gaines in a matchup of 1,500 horsepower Dodge Avengers. Johnson's quarter-mile pass was 6.543 seconds and 212.23 mph, the fastest of the weekend. Gaines' slowed midtrack in the left lane and finished at 8.042, 115.10 mph.
