For Missy Franklin, swimming at Cal is 'amazing'

No one doubted that five-time Olympic medalist Missy Franklin would be a successful college swimmer. She isn't as dominant in backstroke, swimming short-course yards instead of long-course meters. But in her first semester at California, Franklin led the top-ranked Bears in every freestyle distance up to 1,000 yards.
