College basketball: Arizona Wildcats keep stranglehold on No. 1 in Associated Press Poll, USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll

For the eighth consecutive week, the Arizona Wildcats basketball team is No. 1 in the AP and USA TODAY Sports Coaches polls. The Wildcats (20-0) received 63 first-place votes Monday from the 65-member national media panel for the AP Poll. Syracuse (19-0), which is No. 2 for the eighth consecutive week, got the other No. 1 votes.
