TUCSON -- The two most important pieces of the No. 1 team in the nation met -- sort of -- on this very court three Decembers ago. Duquesne came to play at Arizona's McKale Center on Nov. 9, 2011, a middling Atlantic 10 Conference team facing off against the nation's 16th-ranked team. Two players guarded each other at various points, the Dukes' T.J. McConnell and Wildcats' Nick Johnson, as Duquesne kept the game closer than most imagined before losing by eight points.
