Arizona Diamondbacks GM Kevin Towers expects talks to linger

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Diamondbacks General Manager Kevin Towers departed the winter meetings on Thursday knowing what his options were to obtain a starting pitcher, both in dollars on the free-agent market and in talent on the trade front. "There are some things that we can do that we're going to continue to discuss," he said. "Will we right now? I'm not sure. We'll go back, huddle up again. We'll kind of regroup and get out of the feeding frenzy here."
