Much of the emphasis for coaxing good rebounding is targeted at heart and desire. Some brawn and hops do not hurt, either. Suns center Miles Plumlee, basically a rookie after barely touching the court for Indiana, is the Suns' saving grace on the boards. Phoenix ranks as the NBA's seventh-worst rebounding team despite Plumlee entering Saturday night's game ranking 22nd in the league with 8.8 boards per game and 16th for his rebound rate (15.0 per 48 minutes).
