Willie Bloomquist on verge of signing deal with Seattle Mariners

Utility man Willie Bloomquist, who spent the past three seasons with the Diamondbacks, is on the verge of signing a two-year deal with the Seattle Mariners. According to a source, the deal will be worth between $5 million and $6 million, assuming Bloomquist passes a physical exam later this week.
