Phoenix Coyotes' Shane Doan stays home to 'get a little more rest'

The Coyotes depart Phoenix Monday to begin a four-game tour of eastern Canada and Buffalo with captain Shane Doan's seat on their airplane vacant, but the spot could be filled by the time the team returns home in a week. Doan, who is on injured reserve with an illness, didn't accompany the Coyotes for the start of their trip, but it's possible he could join them at some point.
