A drastic demise between their return from the Olympics and Wednesday's NHL trade deadline would likely have encouraged the Coyotes to replace their add-if-we-can approach with a "sellers" tag. But even a 0-2-1 showing so far in that span, albeit disappointing, probably doesn't qualify as one.
