For all the talk of how slow of a game baseball is, it sure is quick to move on. Just over a year ago, the Diamondbacks seemed certain they had found a stellar lefty killer and potential closing candidate when they acquired Matt Reynolds from the Rockies. Amid the many question marks in Arizona's bullpen, Reynolds began his Diamondbacks campaign by tying a club record with 19 scoreless outings. And then, in early June, Reynolds popped up on the 15-day disabled list with an elbow strain. As the Diamondbacks relief staff continued to implode, Reynolds was forced to watch and grit his teeth.
