No one on the Arizona State staff asked Ryan Burr to return to the bullpen, although pitching coach Ken Knutson prefers him in that role. Instead Burr initiated the move, partly because of his impatience between starts. The sophomore right-hander, who was a freshman All-American in 2013 thanks to a school-freshman-record 12 saves, will be at the back end again starting this weekend against No. 21 Tennessee.
