The Diamondbacks signed 37-year-old pitcher Bronson Arroyo in part because of his legendary durability. You could put him down for 200 innings every year and write it in permanent ink. Arroyo still may reach that threshold, but he'll have to overcome an injury hiccup to do it. The right-hander is expected to miss at least the next seven to 10 days with an inflamed disk. The injury is similar to one he suffered in 2011 while with the Cincinnati Reds, although Arroyo did not miss a start that time.
