Dawn of the Planet of the Apes ruled the box office on Friday with an estimated $27.7 million.That debut is up significantly from 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes ($19.5 million), and is also a bit higher than last year's World War Z ($25.2 million).The movie has strong reviews and good word-of-mouth, which should help prevent a steep Saturday drop off. The World Cup final could keep some people away on Sunday, though. Regardless, Dawn is likely to wind up over $70 million for the week...
