Kevin Stadler's birdie on 17th hole wins Waste Management Phoenix Open

Kevin Stadler's birdie on the 17th hole - his first birdie of the back nine - was enough for him to claim a 1-stroke victory today in the Waste Management Phoenix Open over Bubba Watson and Graham DeLaet. It was Stadler's first career victory on the PGA Tour for the son of longtime pro golfer Craig Stadler. Stadler had to wait until 54-hole leader Bubba Watson missed the last putt of the day - a 5-footer that would have forced a playoff. Watson's second shot on the 18th hole sailed over the green.
