SOCHI, Russia -- Even if Lyndsey Fry doesn't play another hockey game after completing her career at Harvard, she's made history by becoming the first native Arizonan to win a medal at the Winter Olympics. She is the state's winter counterpart to Lewis Tewanima, the Hopi legend who was forced from his reservation to the Carlisle Indian School in Pennsylvania, ostensibly to become civilized. Tewanima was Arizona's first Summer Olympic medalist, winning a silver medal in the 10,000 meters at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics.
