All those missed 3-pointers that Gilbert Christian took in the second quarter that put it in a hole went in during a frenetic second-half comeback bid. But Vail Cienega kept its poise, knocked down 11 of 12 free throws late and moved on to the state semifinals for the first time in school history with a 62-54 victory Wednesday at Glendale's Jobing.com Arena.
