For years, the Diamondbacks made moves that not so subtly suggested they did not fully believe in Gerardo Parra as an everyday player. And for years, Parra kept his mouth shut, waiting his turn. It was becoming a rite of spring: He would arrive at camp, reporters would flock to get his reaction to the latest snubbing and Parra would shrug and smile. No big deal, he'd say.
