Former NFL player Darren Sharper investigated in multiple rape allegations in Tempe

Tempe police are investigating rape allegations against former pro football player Darren Sharper, who was charged today with drugging and raping two women in Los Angeles County. Sharper, 37, was was scheduled to be arraigned Friday morning on accusations that he drugged and raped two women in October and January, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said. Sharper was arrested Jan. 17 by Los Angeles Police Department detectives.
