Arizona State basketball centers just need time to develop

Over Herb Sendek's eight years at Arizona State, the Sun Devils have had quality Pac-12 big men. They just took time to develop. Jeff Pendergraph made the biggest impact at a young age, averaging 10.9 points per game as a freshman, but he needed four years to turn into a second-round NBA draft pick. Eric Boateng, a transfer from Duke, averaged just 8.2 minutes as a junior but matured enough as a senior to earn himself a professional basketball career overseas.
