Newcomer Bronson Arroyo might not give the Diamondbacks the sort of frontline starter production they had sought all off-season, but he is being counted on to deliver something else that should be valuable over a six-month season. For a Diamondbacks organization that quickly found its starting pitching depth compromised, Arroyo represents peace of mind in the form of a rubber-armed right-hander. No pitcher in baseball has started more games than Arroyo since 2005. Only two have logged more innings.
