After searching all winter for a top-of-the-rotation starter, the Diamondbacks on Friday settled for a mid-rotation option, agreeing to terms with veteran right-hander Bronson Arroyo on a two-year deal. Arroyo, a durable innings-eater for the past decade, will make $9.5 million in each of the next two seasons. The contract also includes an $11 million team option for 2016 that can be bought out for $4.5 million, bringing the total guarantee to $23.5 million.
