'No Good Deed' Defeats 'Dolphin Tale' Sequel on Friday

No Good Deed dominated the box office on Friday, while Dolphin Tale 2 opened below its predecessor. Meanwhile, crime drama The Drop exceeded expectations with a fourth place debut.Playing at 2,175 theaters, No Good Deed opened in the top spot with $8.8 million. That's a strong result for this modestly-budgeted thriller; among similar movies, that's in between Obsessed ($11.2 million) and The Call ($6.2 million). For the weekend, No Good Deed is on track to earn between $22 and $25 million. ...
