Phoenix Coyotes newcomer Martin Erat hopes to get to know team better on East Coast trip

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Coyotes winger Martin Erat had been pining for a one-way ticket out of Washington since the beginning of the season when he asked the Capitals for a trade. His request was finally met Tuesday when the Capitals shipped him to the Coyotes a day before the league's trade deadline.
