Phoenix Coyotes see 'upside' in Connor Murphy after 1st stint

WINNIPEG, Manitoba - It was probably easier for rookie defenseman Connor Murphy to fail rather than succeed during his first stay in the NHL. Murphy spent much of his time on the top pairing with Oliver Ekman-Larsson, was matched up against the opposition's best and tasked with penalty killing and protecting a lead in the last minute of games.
