Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen was named the National League's Most Valuable Player on Thursday, winning the election in a landslide over Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, who finished second. McCutchen received 28 of the 30 first-place votes. Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina, who finished third, received the other two first-place votes.
