ASU football can win first Pac-12 South title at UCLA

PASADENA, Calif. -- Since August, when Arizona State opened practice in Tempe, coach Todd Graham has not failed to let a day pass without talking about a championship. He never has shied away from his goals, not after getting blown out in the first half at Stanford, not after losing a winnable game against Notre Dame. And so here the No. 17 Sun Devils are, in place to win what they hope is the first step to the Rose Bowl. A win Saturday at No. 14 UCLA clinches the Pac-12 South, guaranteeing a spot in the Dec. 7 Pac-12 Championship Game, the winner of which represents the conference in the Rose Bowl.
