A week after committing to Ohio State, Mesa Mountain View forward/center Payton Dastrup had a change of heart and changed his college basketball commitment to BYU, signing with the Cougars on Wednesday. "I think once he made the decision, he realized he has family up there (in Utah), his dad (David) is from that area," Mountain View coach Gary Ernst said. "I think he thought it was a better fit. Ohio State sounded good and it would be a great location for him. He just felt more comfortable with BYU."
