It was near the end of practice earlier this week and Mike Smith couldn't stop a shot to save his life. Pucks were slipping and sneaking by him at such an alarming rate, he finally yanked off his goalie mask and skated hastily out of the net in search of a drink. He probably could have used something stronger than a splash of Gatorade.
