Ex-Diamondbacks pitcher Randy Johnson, former major-league All-Star Ken Griffey Jr. and basketball Hall of Famer Julius Erving will headline this year's Waste Management Phoenix Open Annexus Pro-Am. The event tees off at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 29 on TPC Scottsdale's Stadium Course. Other notables in the field include Cardinals coach Bruce Arians, Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill, Pro Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, former NFL quarterback Jim McMahon, Washington Redskins great Darrell Green and country-music star Jake Owen. Johnson is a five-time Cy Young Award winner, 10-time All-Star, 2001 World Series Champion and MVP with the Diamondbacks, a 303-game winner and ranks second all-time on the career strikeout list (4,875) behind Nolan Ryan (5,714). Johnson last played in the Phoenix Open Wednesday Pro-Am in 2002.
