Michael Crow: ASU expected to 'have some candidates' for AD position soon

Arizona State appears to be close to naming a new athletic director. ASU President Michael Crow said in a recent e-mail that the school "should have some candidates that we are focused on shortly" in its search for a new AD to replace Steve Patterson, who took the AD job at Texas in early November. Some believe a decision will be coming soon among three finalists.
