Arizona Diamondbacks trade Matt Davidson to Chicago White Sox for Addison Reed

The Arizona Diamondbacks have acquired right-handed pitcher Addison Reed from the Chicago White Sox for infielder Matt Davidson. Reed, who turns 25 on December 27, set career highs in wins, saves, appearances, innings and strikeouts with the White Sox in 2013 and his 40 saves ranked fifth in the American League (seventh in the Majors).
